Privacy Statement [NL]
The following is the privacy policy of IKON Office Solutions Netherlands B.V. in the Netherlands:

IKON Office Solutions Netherlands B.V. ("IKON"), acting as a data controller (verantwoordelijke) concerning the processing of personal data in the meaning of the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act (Wet Bescherming Persoonsgegevens) of 6 July 2000, created this Privacy Policy in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to protecting the privacy of our customers who visit or utilize our online web site. This policy discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices and explains how we use and protect personal identifiable information that we receive from our site. By visiting IKON's Website, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy covers the Web pages belonging to IKON in the Netherlands only, and does not cover the privacy policies of any IKON affiliates, foreign or domestic. This Privacy Policy and the policies described below are subject to change from time to time. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to confirm our current site policies.

For your convenience, our site may contain links to other sites. Our site may also be referenced on or accessible through links contained on other sites, including sites of third party e-procurement networks. However, we have not investigated, and accept no liability or responsibility for, the privacy practices or content of those sites. Their policies and protections may be different than those offered by IKON. We encourage you to investigate and review the privacy practices of those sites prior to use.

There exists a Dutch version of this Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict between this English version and the Dutch version, the provisions of the English version shall prevail.

What information is collected?

When you visit our site, automated tools are used to collect anonymous system information about your computer, such as your assigned Internet Protocol (IP) address (an IP address is a number that is assigned to your computer when you are surfing the Web), the type of browser and operating system used to access our site, the date and time you access our site and the pages that are viewed and paths are taken through the Website. In certain areas of the site designated for specific customers, we require personal contact information (such as your name and e-mail address) in order to provide account access and perform other commerce-related activities. This information is usually requested in the registration and order forms set forth in those areas. If you obtain access to one of those designated areas, and you are required to log in, we will use a "cookie" to store your user name. Cookies are small files that are placed on your hard drive by a web site. They act as unique identifiers for your computer, but cannot be used to identify any individual, only machines. We may use cookies to identify our customers and better understand their browsing or usage patterns, as well as to enhance the experience of our customers at our site.

When you give us information about another individual for business purposes, you do so on the basis that the other individual has agreed, and has consented to the processing of his or her personal information.

What do we do with the information we collect?

Anonymous system information, such as your IP address, is used to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our web site. We record your user name in a cookie so you don't have to re-enter it every time you visit the site. Any personal information that is collected, such as your name, address, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, is used to establish and confirm your identity within our internal systems and provide personalized account access and ordering capabilities. In addition, any contact information you provide in order to request additional information from us, or to provide feedback about IKON or our site, is used solely to respond to you. This information is obtained to enable our customers to communicate with IKON easily and quickly.

From time to time, IKON may also want to provide you with marketing information we think would be of particular interest, but we will only do so if you have consented to have your information used for this purpose.

Accuracy of your Information

IKON strives to keep your personally identifiable information accurate. If you think that we hold information about you that is incorrect in any way, or out of date, please contact us using the details below.

How is payment information protected?

If you enter credit card payment information (for example, American Express, MasterCard or Visa information) to purchase IKON equipment, supplies or services, that information is encrypted and protected with industry standard encryption software. IKON currently uses Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL) in conjunction with its third party providers to protect information and ensure that financial transactions are secure.

With whom do we share that information?

Any information we collect about you or your computer is used exclusively by IKON to enhance and improve your visits to our site, or to provide you with requested information, products or services. For example, when a customer submits credit card information to IKON in order to place an online order, such personal information is used only for payment and shipping purposes. We may similarly share data with our affiliates and contractors in order to help us analyze such information, assess usage trends, improve site layout or design, or to maintain or upgrade our software and web capabilities. However, no personal information is distributed to third parties for direct marketing or solicitation purposes. If IKON or substantially all of its assets are targeted for acquisition, customer information may be disclosed on a confidential basis as part of the due diligence or investigative efforts of the potential third party acquiror. In the event of any actual acquisition, such information would be transferred as part of the transaction to the acquiror.

All personal information is maintained and stored in conjunction with the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act (Wet Bescherming Persoonsgegevens) of 6 July 2000.
